Kamloops Voters’ Society launches Ajax mine survey The Kamloops Voters’ Society has launched an online survey about the proposed Ajax mine. The survey can be filled out online at The deadline for responses is October 14. Only one response per city household is allowed ( per IP address). As reported in the Kamloops Daily News, the group wants to remain neutral on the mine issue. While they can’t afford a scientific survey, board members are hoping for widespread participation. The 20 questions consider economic benefits, environmental factors, impact on tourism and whether the City Council should be more engaged on the proposal.
