Retrofit Assist: watch the webinar recording

On Thursday April 3rd, Transition Kamloops hosted a webinar to inform residents of the Retrofit Assist program that is administered by the Community Energy Association (CEA). In the webinar, CEA staff provided a summary of Retrofit Assist’s free energy upgrade services, provincial and federal funding, and rebate opportunities for Kamloops residents.

If you’ve been considering home improvement projects that would make your home more efficient, Retrofit Assist may be exactly what you need to get started. This program is a concierge service helping homeowners navigate the process of undertaking home energy retrofits. Heat pumps, window and insulation replacement, and solar panels are some of the work that is eligible for funding or financing. If you missed the webinar and want to learn more about making your home more energy efficient, check out the webinar recording here!

Right now, you can take advantage of an EnerGuide Evaluation that will assess your needs and provide guidance on what upgrades could realize the most home energy savings. This evaluation usually costs $600, but is currently being offered for just $99. This is excellent value for learning more about your home, helping you prioritize what retrofits would be best for you, and what rebates you qualify for.
