The Kamloops Repair Café is back on March 12 from 10 am to 3 pm at the TRU Library Makerspace on the first floor of House of Learning. This is your chance to get small electrical items, clothing, bicycles, and even small wooden furniture repaired by local volunteers. You will even get to learn some valuable repair skills! The event is organised by Kamloops Repair Café, TRU Makerspace, and the TRU Sustainability Office.
This event is free and open to everyone at TRU and the public. No pre-registration is needed. Items are repaired on a first come, first served basis. Items that are not accepted include: footwear, gas or other fuel powered devices, computers or cell phones, and anything that needs two or more people to carry. If you want to know if your item is acceptable to bring, please email us.
The Repair Cafe team is always looking for more event organizers and “fixers”. If you know someone who might like to join the team, please get in touch!
