Repair Cafe will be partnering with the TRU Eco Club (we love collaboration!) for a slow fashion event. Need to change up your wardrobe? Bring in clean clothing items, or just come and choose something new to you to get a fresh look at no cost. If the clothes need to be repaired, Repair Cafe will have our seamstresses there with their sewing machines to show you how to make basic repairs. Keep stuff out of the landfill, conserve resources and energy and have fun finding that just right article of clothing!
All this is happening in the TRU Student Union boardroom at the CAC on campus on Friday Mar 6 from 9am-4pm.
