“Did you know that 70% of food crops and that 1 in 3 bites of food we eat come from the pollination of plants by
bees? However throughout the world there is a very serious die-off of many species of bees, both wild and domesticated,
the pollinators of our food crops. Scientific studies of the die-off appears to connect the use of neonicotinoids, a
component of the pesticide Round-Up, with the die-off of the bees.
G.E.Free Kamloops (Genetic Engineered Free Kamloops) is sponsoring the film “More than Honey” at the Paramount
Theater at 503 Victoria Street at 7 pm on April 30. Admission is $7. This film will document the neonicotinoid-bee death connection
through wonderful cinematography. We are sponsoring the film also to raise money to support the campaign to
create Kamloops as a GE free city and to be able to spread the word about the alternatives to the use of Roundup.
Please contact me at rideau_rubber@hotmail.com to purchase tickets. Tickets are also available at Nature’s Fare, The Smorg Deli, The Art We Are

We hope to see you at the showing,
