A few months ago, we introduced the Kamloops Cycling Coalition (KCC). This newly founded community group strives to work alongside local government, community organizations, agencies and residents to influence positive changes that make active transportation more safe, affordable, and equitable in order for us to meet our community’s climate, health and economic goals.
Our Vision
Kamloops is a community where active transportation is considered a primary, practical, and safe mode of transportation, with fully connected and safe routes in all neighborhoods. Our community fully embraces a culture that empowers all people to engage in active transportation for convenience, affordability, health and recreation.
Our Mission
The Kamloops Cycling Coalition supports safe, efficient and equitable access to active transportation networks connecting all neighborhoods and infrastructure for users of all ages and abilities through advocacy, education, awareness and activity.
