Do you have a household item in need of repair? The next Repair Cafe is on February 29th from 10am – 3 pm at Sahali Mall, 945 Columbia Street West. Volunteer repair experts will teach you how to make basic repairs to clothing, jewelry, small appliances, electronics, furniture, bicycles and more! Hosted by Transition Kamloops and Kamloops Makerspace.

Volunteers find it really rewarding to send repaired items home with their owners, but the demand for “fixers” is starting to exceed the supply! Do you know someone who is always the go-to person when something needs repair? Please encourage them to get in touch with us! Organizational help for the day of the event plus planning and promotional assistance is also welcome.
