Repair Café Kamloops is a neighbourhood initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Transition Kamloops has partnered with Kamloops Makerspace to host a Repair Café at the Green Living Expo on April 28, 2018. Residents of Kamloops and area can bring their broken items and fix them on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers. We could use more handy volunteers in the area. Join us!

 

Repair Café Kamloops is looking for local residents with different skills who can be present as repair experts during the Repair Café event. We are especially looking for people who are handy with:

 

* clothing / textile                        * bicycles

* electrical appliances                * furniture / wooden objects

 

And who enjoy sharing their knowledge with their neighbours.

 

In addition, we are also looking for people who wish to fulfil the role of host / hostess at the event. You welcome visitors and serve as a contact point for both visitors and repairers in the Repair Café.
