.     A call for volunteers to help with a shoreline clean-up effort was put out by Kathrin Edwards via the Kamloops Daily News.  She suggested that people meet at the Rivers Trail trailhead at the edge of the parking lot between Riverside Park and the Interior Savings Centre at 10 am on Saturday, March 17.  Some garbage bags will be available, but volunteers are also invited to bring their own.
