. This summit is dedicated to the sustainable development of our communities by building healthy, safe urban and rural areas. The objective of this summit is to bring together local and regional leaders while emphasizing the role of local partnerships, strategies and successes which contribute to liveable and healthy cities for children and youth. The 2012 summit is anticipated to attract approximately 300 delegates from across British Columbia, providing them the opportunity to network and learn about creating sustainable communities that highlight effective policies and practices by demonstrating visionary community initiatives.
