Avrim Lazar is President & CEO of the Forest Products Association of Canada as well as Chair of the Advisory Committee on Paper and Wood Products. He has also worked as national policy advisor  in areas as diverse as climate change, biodiversity, child poverty, and employemnt insurance.   He was the Chair of the Committee of teh Whole of the Second UN Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biolgoical Diversity in 1995.
