Fair Trade Kamloops and the Global Action Committee of the Kamloops United Church is hosting a Fair Trade Cafe in conjunction with the 10,000 Villages Fair Trade Craft Fair. Join us Friday Nov 19, 12 noon to 6 pm and Saturday, November 20 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Kamloops United Church, 421 St Paul Street for delicious foods and unique gift ideas from around the world.
We are using Fair Trade, local and/or organic ingredients for the soup, baked goods and hot beverages. Fair Trade certification not only benefits farmers and provides a living wage to crafters, but adoption of environmental standards also reduces the use of agrochemicals and encourages sustainability. This is an ethical way to do your Christmas shopping!
