Members and Friends of the Kamloops Food Policy Council: LET’S CELEBRATE TOGETHER! December 4 at 5pm Mt Paul United Church Let’s celebrate our best year ever for food security in Kamloops. From food production and distribution, to preservation and preparation; new programs and maturing programs; input into municipal and provincial food related policies; and bold steps toward a new KFPC governance model, it has been a year of successful team work. As 2013 comes to a close, reserve 5:00-8:00 p.m. December 5 to gather together, socialize and share food. Public produce takes off in Kamloops

The Kamloops Food Policy Council believes we have much to celebrate when it comes to FOOD. Public Produce has expanded from a small plot two years ago to several larger sites at McDonald Park, Elm & Tranquille Road, at the front entrance to City Hall and along Lorne Street at Riverside Park.
